Wain Wath Force in autumn

Wain Wath Force in autumn - Yorkshire Dales

The small but lovely falls at Wain Wath in upper Swaledale. The water level was low enough for me to scramble onto a rock platform right in front of this small cataract. I recall balancing the exposure being tricky. I don't usually photograph waterfalls in sunny conditions, but I feel it was justified on this occasion.

Nikon D800 35mm lens f16 2 seconds. 3/11/2014 12.42.
