Rushing tide Jokulsarlon Iceland-3

Rushing tide Jokulsarlon Iceland-3 - Iceland

This is the most challenging landscape photography I've done to date. I decided to get right into the action. The elements were working both for and against me. It was raining heavily, so one hand was holding the brolly, whilst I operated the camera, and cleaned the lens, with the other. In between all this the tide was coming in quickly, and crashing against the icebergs with alarming force. The ice was littered everywhere, so finding a composition was hard work. I made a few exposures and beat a hasty retreat up the beach!
